Career Development Plan on NCcareers.org helps students explore careers and build a plan for after high school, covering goals, education, courses, work-based learning, and more. North Carolina law requires all middle and high school students to complete a Career Development Plan before advancing to the next grade, and to update it again in 10th grade.
Users can sign in to NCcareers.org with their CFNC.org or NCEdCloud credentials, which allows students to save their plan and allows professionals at their school or organization to view their progress.
Editor's note: please review the NCcareers Connection article, to confirm this follows the one time connection step required for CFNC and NCEdCloud logins to sync (students log in with their CFNC credentials once to activate the connection"), so students keep their Career Development Plan data after graduation. https://nccareers.org/sites/default/files/2026-07/NCcareers_Career_Development_Plan_Step-by-Step_Guide_2026.pdf
